Tim Forrester

Tim Forrester is the Managing Director of Queensland-based development and investment
company, ARIA Property International, and the Executive Director of Heritage Green, which
is the United States division of ARIA Property International. One of Queensland’s young
entrepreneurs, Tim founded ARIA and now manages more than 30 staff internationally. He
has established an substantial international development pipeline and manages a wholly
owned investment portfolio of $250 million.
Tim has extensive knowledge of all facets of property investment and development, which
he gained while part of the Development team at ASX ‘Top 200 Company’ FKP. He has a
keen eye for acquisitions and was instrumental in moving FKP into the urban renewal
precinct of South Brisbane. Tim has continued this trend with ARIA, which now controls the
majority of sites in South Brisbane. The company will be pivotal in the future growth of
South East Queensland and critical to meeting population pressures in the region.
Domestically, Tim is on a number of task forces across Queensland including the South
Brisbane and Redlands. He works with Maroochy Shire Council and is a member of the Lord
Mayor’s Planning Advisory Committee.
Internationally, Tim is a member of various advisory boards including US Green Build, Urban
Land Institute and International Forum for Sustainable Development. He has successfully
helped to generate increased awareness and education about the principles and practices
of ESD and has also lobbied Council to improve the standard of environmentally sustainable
housing in Northern Florida.
